8 Week FitCamp - Starting in January!!


Hello future campers!! The Holidays are just around the corner and I have the perfect gift and New Year resolution for you! I'm kicking off an 8 week FITCAMP starting January 3rd and running through February 25th with 4 different class times per week to choose from.

This would make a fantastic holiday gift for yourself or someone that you know -- the gift of fitness and accountability to jump start the New Year!! I am holding a special deal for this cycle of FitCamps as an incentive to adding fitness to your New Year goal. An unlimited pass for an 8 week course is a $240 package but(!)

I will be offering it for only $99!!

You'll have unlimited access to all 4 (per week) classes during the 8 week period. The class options will be:

Tuesday @ 6:30am
Wednesday @ 5:00pm
Thursday @ 6:30am
Saturday @ 8:00am

FitCamp classes will be located under the Granada bridge in Ormond Beach. Exact location will be given to you via email or by checking back on this website the weekend before FitCamp starts. You'll need to bring water, a towel and sometimes a hand weight.

Don't be afraid! FitCamp is for anyone at any level. Some people come into boot camp that are inactive and feel out-of-shape. That’s OK! The exercises are tailored to your fitness level. There are also people that start FitCamp who have been exercising for a while but are looking for a change. The exercises in FitCamp will work your muscles differently and help to give you that extra challenge so that you see more results.

Many people tell me that they just haven’t been able to achieve the results on their own. People know that they need to exercise and eat healthier but they just aren’t doing it. They tell me about programs that they’ve tried that didn’t work or only work temporarily. I can’t tell you the number of times that I’ve heard people say that they are looking for accountability. Many students have told me that accountability that I’ve given them through FitCamp or personal training is a big part of what’s helped them.

When I 1st became a fitness trainer, my dream was to train in homes. I've spent the past year working inside of a gym -- gaining experience and knowledge -- and I have LOVED my journey. But as this new year approaches, I have decided it's time to transition into the "traveling trainer" that I have always wanted to be!! Whether your schedule prevents you from going to the gym, or you simply enjoy the convenience and comfort of working out at home, I will motivate you with individualized programs and personalized attention.

What happens in a typical personal training session? 
Each personal training session is developed specifically for you based on your fitness level and goals, so exact formats vary. However, during a typical 50-minute session, you should expect a 10 minute warm-up, 30-40 minutes of cardiovascular conditioning and total body strength training, and a 5-10 minute cool-down and stretching period.

Set a Goal!

Hey ya'll!! We are coming to the end of 2011 and it's time to reflect on our year! I can't believe how quickly this year has passed, and I am sure each year will fly faster. Before I enter 2012 though, I will be leaving my 20's behind and hitting a new milestone as I turn 30. I will no longer be able to say that fun "29" number, but I can honestly admit that I am welcoming this birthday. I am very thankful for the growth I have gone through before this point. Turning 30 is just a year that tells how long I've been here to create my story, to learn from my experiences and to grow into the person that I am meant to be. As the years pass and the age increases -- the more depth and wisdom I will have.


With that in mind, I strongly believe in setting goals for yourself. Don't just float through life without any ambition or drive! Time flies -- what do you want for yourself? Goals should be dreamed up for many aspects of your life, but consider your health/fitness related goals while reading this blog. Are you in great shape? Do you exercise regularly? Do you have strong muscles and bones? Do you eat healthy? Do you have the level of energy that you want? Do you have the body you want? "If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree." You have the power to shift, and it all starts with a goal. Create that target.
